Last night we had this done with the really nice Mutti tinned chopped tomato;

Did have it with Turkish Pide bread instead of Naan.

Mutti toms are the base for many a fine dish🍅

chicken breast in a ceramic pot with mushrooms, stilton and bacon. Was gonna have roast potatoes and steamed veg but fecked up the timings so oven chips have gone in. The juices from the pot will be making the gravy.

Freezer raid, lamb rogan josh ( home made of course - based on a Madhur Jaffrey recipe) Loads of wilted spinach and a naan bread. That was rescued from the freezer and revived, successfully, using the microwave defrost programme.

Crispy tofu with sweet & sour sauce, rice and steamed veggies (green beans, mange tout & bamboo shoots)

Edited to say that the sweet & sour sauce was made from scratch using tinned pineapple, tomato ketchup, onion, garlic, ginger, five spice and some veggie stock. All thickened with cornflour.
