I was tearing up in Star Trek last week. I was pretty much snivelling all the way through WALL:E when I saw it in the cinema last year. The end bit of Forest Gump was a bit of a weepie. Likewise Elephant Man. The thing I dread is if the film ends too soon after the last sad bit, not leaving you enough time for your eyes to dry out a bit before leaving.

Very true. That's why I sat through the Elephant Man twice on the trot in a cinema in Brussels when it first came out.

Didn't want Johnny Foreigner to see we had lost control of our upper lip.

i remember going to see "The awakenings" staring Robin Williams,there was plenty of blubbing going on when the lights came on!! Schindlers list was very moving as well

The local cinema is a bit behind the times - Star Trek will be shown in August. Gran Torino with Clint Eastwood is on Friday, might go and see that, yes, I know, the DVD is now out.

I've just been to see Transformers, Revenge Of The Fallen. Cry? Cost me thirty quid!
