Tough ride today

Rode up Cragg Vale today

Ok it's not the steepest hill in the UK, but at just over 5 miles long with very strong head/side winds and torrential rain, was the toughest ride I've ever done (bear in mind I'm 49 and only been riding for 12 months)

Total ride was 45 miles

It was nasty today, we did just over 60 heading up around cannock Chase/Rugely with a biting wind and rain showers , no wonder i did about half of the turns on the front

Headwind makes even a flat road like an uphill pull.
