I have a feeling that we'll see Visma's bully boy tactics pay off today with Vingegaard dropping Pogacar on the Madeleine and bridging to at least one satellite rider waiting at the bottom to tow him to the foot of Col de la Loze.

Pogacar on today's stage (Stage 17 press conference):
"I hope they'll push the stage, join the breakaways, and raise the pace on the first or second climb. But especially on the Col de la Loze, they'll go all out. I'll be waiting for them; I'll be ready"
Bring it on 😁

or all this attacking could catch up with him and he gets countered and Pog, Rog, Lippo and OO ride him off the podium.

Given how he tried on Ventoux, I think he will try something desperate today, he needs 4mins+ today or tomorrow
