Looks like a lovely evening in Lille, but I can’t be bothered the watch the team presentation as they are always so cringe worthy.

Seems like they're trying to sex up the final stage with a climb of Montmartre.
Not clear to me whether there's just 1 ascent or several.

I'm not convinced of this idea. Yes it looked stunning at the Olympics but at stage 21 at the end of a 3 week tour ???? How is the winner supposed to swig his bubbly ? If there's any kind of crash there'll never do it again.

To be fair the bubbly swinging is all done before the circuits anyway, all that is happening is the last 3 circuits include a deviation off up montmartre.
The jeopardy is that those roads are a fair bit narrower than the usually circuit round the champs. So yes there is an increased chance of a crash and GC time Gaps, which haven't really been a "thing" in recent TdeF final stages. There is decent chance that the sprinter teams will get on the front to set a decent pace to strop it bunching, but control it so no loon gets away to spark panic and it will all pass off as normal with the sprinters doing battle on the champs.

I half expect Pogacar to dish out Jeigerbombs to the rest of his team before riding away from everyone.

Suppose it's to late to change stg 1 to a nice sensible prologue, all them sprinter types going after a yellow jersey is frightening.
Hope the GC boys sit back and keep out of it..
