Are Visma getting extra bananas in their bags to throw under Pog's wheel?🤣

It was 2 years before I was born and i know the reference.

It's British cultural heritage, should be on a GCSE history syllabus

I have a feeling that we'll see Visma's bully boy tactics pay off today with Vingegaard dropping Pogacar on the Madeleine and bridging to at least one satellite rider waiting at the bottom to tow him to the foot of Col de la Loze.

I hope so, though perhaps not with that phrasing about the tactics of the massive underdog that's desperately trying to claw back over 4 minutes

Needs to ask himself the question: what would G do?

I reckon the G of today would say "Don't do it mate, I've done it, it's not worth it. It's not like anyone here's winning the Tour and you might miss out"

Wout going to go with Milan at the sprint and then keep going to establish a break with satellite riders.

Now he's definitely on the "don't let him in the break" list, though today it's 90% tactical and only 10% spite.
His role here might be just to make it hard for UAE from the start because they can't not chase him. Then get e.g. Benoot and Campenaerts up the road when they're a little worn down.

Vin to sprint at intermediate to draw out Pog and panic Milan?🤪

If Pog does launch and get big points at intermediate, is today's stage of mountains possibly going to crush Milan, into missing cutoff?
