A guy from my club was banging on about a 300 mile ride for months. He completed the ride and it was a little short, so he rode around a housing estate a bit until his garmin said 300.00. That's what he claimed anyway. Strava said 299.99 miles.

Or the rolling terrain between Chambery and Voiron on stage 17. There are 110kms between the finish and the last 4th cat climb.
Nothing harder than a 3rd cat on the course.

Latest from Vingegaard is the hope that riding a GT can take the edge off explosivity but give good legs for the longer climbs. As a registered and certified fanboy (complete with restraining order and ankle tag) I obviously believe him, but I hope it's going to be enough....

Other Danish news, Mads P has announced he's retiring after the World's in Copenhagen in '29, so enjoy the next two and a half seasons of him!

Anyway, the damage wasn't really done on the Tourmalet, it was done after on that long draggy diesel climb that also suits Pogacar.....
