So, Mads P this morning saying if "they" (Girmay, Philipsen) get in the break then he'd obviously want to be in it but other wise he's not that bothered.
Danish coms think he's understating it a little, and that he'd like a break of around 15, and then try and stay away and grab some points after the rather large mountain at the end (they're not suggesting he'd win, more that it's a 50pt stage, so a top five-ten would be useful)
I think they may be overestimating his climbing a touch....

Just heard it in a bit more depth, he had quite a bit of interesting stuff to say
He was asked about what the right make up of the break would be for him to try and get in it /for it to get way, and said it was difficult to say - but that it would take 10 minutes or an hour and a half. There was also a suggestion that both Philipsen and Girmay don't have to save energy for sprints now, so might be going for the breaks

I think it's a decent starter-kit - if they're 15"-20" ahead (which they've got the engines to sustain) then a few more will be able to jump across.
UAE being unhelpful about things again. Seems a weird stage to target, if that's what they're doing - there's no need to force a risky race on descent here. But they're not letting anyone else get away
