Since the commentary has been talking about the heat, I thought I would have look to see how hot it’s going to be, next week. Not good.

Not convinced that initial time gap to Del Toro was correct. I know he was shifting but he took half a minute back in around 1km which seems a stretch.

Interesting conversation on NZ coverage.
Apparently Jorgensen knew he was going to lose 2 minutes in the time trial. Visma told him he was needed to do a massive turn on the descent and flat, because they had 3-60kg climbers left.

I was surprised when I saw the results, as I had assumed he would be back up GC for Vingegaard.

He's always said he's too big to take GC in the Tour seriously, and I don't think anyone else would take him seriously either tbh. Losing some time might make it possible for him to get up the road later (a la Wout), but I doubt UAE will let him ride anyway
