The good news is that we have a couple of flat stages next.

Pog going the last ~80Km alone then?

Feels like the GC is over already. Hope UAE sit up a bit and let others have a go.

Poggi has the whole thing sewn up. Danish fish boy for second. This tour is all about the 3rd step now.

Nah - he was quite visible in the leaders group as riders dropped off the back - he hung on longer than most

There’s nowhere to hide when UAE are on their motorbikes. Too few riders left around.

Boy, considering it’s the weekend (almost) the slope stages the ASO are dishing up are pretty tasteless.
I am looking forward to Sunday’s stage and that’s not exactly a GC ding dong battle.

Speaking of motorbikes, Pogacar went 2m 23s faster up the Tourmalet than the previous record, which he set three years ago. Pantani's d'Huez record is going to be blown to pieces. A 5% gain in 3 years.

It always was though to be fair. Just like the last 4 years. Hopefully something will change soon because my interest has all but gone in watching pro cycling this last couple of seasons.
