are importantly it reads like the UK stages of 2027 Tour & Femmes will be shown live on 5.

Glad is on 5, buggering around with Quest or Dmax is a pain and poorer quality and lacks the ability to play the highlights show later than its scheduled time
Will we see the Femmes this year too?

Sorry what? There aren't any UK stages of the Femmes this year, so not live.

I'm sure there will be highlights on somewhere.

The green jersey comp has been remodelled to favour sprinters (trying to avoid Pog winning bloody everything this year, as he nearly did last year). Extra intermediate sprints and 70 points for sprint stage winners

Can't be bothered to read the details, but I'm in favour in principle. If you're going to have sprint stages, there really should be a motivation for the world's best sprinters to turn up, and take the race seriously.
Otherwise they'll just go elsewhere to hoover up Team UCI points at lower effort+cost.

Just reacquainting myself with the route courtesy of INRNG. There's a real danger this could be put to bed by the first Monday, Tuesday or Thursday; the Tour de Suisse route looks like it's been designed to help Pog prepare for week 1.

If it survives as a contest beyond then, the middle of the race is inert enough for there to be a real chance of it going into week 3.

You'll hate the post podium clip from TdS yesterday where Pog pells off the green jersey to reveal the blue one which he peels off to reveal the yellow one, and I presume if he peels that off it reveals his WC jersey!

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
Seeing that they've royally buggered up stage 21 so it's no longer an unofficial sprinters world champs there's a real risk of sprinters buggering off home if week 3 is mountainous and they aren't in with a sniff of green.

With no Wout to save us this year Pog may well be winning on the Champs d'Elysees.

Prudhomme said in 2011 :
"I first realised there was an issue when I realised that we had a sprinter like Mark Cavendish and he hadn't won the green jersey in three Tours,"

Seems odd as they increased the intermediate sprint points that he tended not to chase.
