er but if they didn't have 3 second rule, the GC boys would still be at the front as they wouldn't want to get behind a 1 second gap. ergo you need both 5km & 3 secs rule to achieve the objective.

Exactly,.which is also why I didn't agree with Jonas whinging in the GIRO Milan crit as the new regs where fine to manage the situation for GC guys moreover they saw the circuit 3 times FFS
