It's tough on the subs bench - me and Wigsie are well into our training routine though..

I'm a bit of a technophile, so I could deal with video and physiological telemetry. Maybe we cold actually measure the physiological effects of too many pies and too many late night videos...

Good job I'm support crew, and not riding....:headshake:

I noticed some of the team looking at bare bums yesterday. ;)

Just keep facing forward this time. The people at the side of the road want to get their bums on TV for some reason! I am sure they were the male variety of bare bums, (at 50km to go, if you would like to know;))

I will not be picking anyone up at the station today! Not even members of the team.

When I say stay on track, I mean it!

I'm Head of Security????

Ok, but there better not be any trouble while I'm about (I don't really like confrontations ;) )

Don't worry about your bikes either. I've got a new security system in place

Now where did I put the keys?

Surely there must be a job for Captain cameraman?!:sad:

There is. Stand there. Now, stick your right hand out arm at your side, bent at the elbow. Same with the left. Cheers, I have skeins of yarn I need to hang over your hands to wind into balls.

I don't have enough of any one colour for a whole subs bench cover, so it'll have to be stripes.... And there might be the odd patch of whisker yarn, or boucle or self patterning sock yarn...

Fellow super sub 3bikes gave me my new steed yesterday, well chuffed but not entirely practical for racing yet, so may need to stay on the bench till I can get her built! (cheers by the way ;)).

Oh and I have stolen a spare support van I 'found' in a travel Lodge Car Park In Ashford a couple of weeks back

As today's stage wends its way up into the tax-haven that is Andorra, the caravan will celebrate by handing out another famous tax-dodger:

Evil cakes those. I once bought two packets in the supermarket. On the journey back through the Scootish countryside I demolished one packet and was on the 2nd and beginning to feel ill but still compulsively attracted to them.

To my shame and to stop myself eating them, I flung them out the window at 50mph. The wind was so strong, I watched the wing mirror in some alarm as they first disappeared behind and then began to loom large again before losing height and falling just behind the car as I stuck my clog down in guilty fright, fearing that the extra second or two in the air pursuing me would give me away as the litter miscreant: I have never bought any since ;)
