Just catching up after a day out.
The breakaway really went all in: 7 riders from 7 teams all giving it everything. Quinn Simmons has been exceptional this race.
Van den Broek was caught but then put in massive shift for Onley, keeping the lead group away from the chasers by himself in between the climbs.
Alaphilippe showed real grit to keep chasing and might just keep his podium place tomorrow because of that.
33seconds advantage to Vauqelin over a 10km climb. Is it enough? Can Arkea really win a WT stage race?

Im going to say no. I think Almeida will win, but it is a steep TT and I wouldnt dismiss Vauqelin, or Onley. It looks just under 30 min so there may be some decent gaps

Almeida takes the stage and the GC.
Vauqelin put in a massive ride to finish 4th on the stage and 2nd overall. Oscar Onley also gave it everything to finish 3rd on the day and take the final GC podium spot from Alaphilippe
