isn't it 60 miles and fairly flat? Depends how fit you are really. Some could do that without breakfast and without stopping and going flat out from the gun and not even break a sweat; others might collapse from exhaustion after 5 miles and need to call 999

Seriously, what kind of BS answer is that? So you're saying someone can do 60 miles, flat out on an empty stomach and not break into a sweat? Really? FFS...

maybe they will sweat a bit then
you missed the point of my post though - it's all relative and the OP didn't really state their level of fitness making it impossible to offer any useful advice. I'm just a regular club rider and I could (and have) cycled 60 miles without breakfast, without stopping and with no trouble
