Ha just as I posted that suddenly live coverage started , why its started 30 mins late is a mystery

mystery solved I was recording it and when i switched to the channel it took me to the begining of the recording , 30 mins before the start of the programme.

Don't grumble: TransPenning Express have 3 types of shiny new trains and Northern Powerhouse Rail coming. We're still on turbostars and 50mph jointed track in the fens, with it taking decades to get Ely North junction upgraded. The Four Yorkshiremen don't know how good they've got it!

TP Express is dire. And with the reduction in services that are coming it is really another nail in the northern rail coffin.

I have to bring my dog and I'm off to my sisters house too so sadly the train is not an option.

It's an interesting conundrum though. Drive in 2 hours or take 4 hours (and an expensive train ticket)? Sadly there is no encouragement to use public transport when you live up north!
