Decided to visit some of the local'ish bike shops this afternoon.

Vickster previously recommended that I should visit Dolan.

Like the way they display bikes in their showroom. Ribble do it at theirs too.

I had visited Formby Cycles before and it was right in the middle of the pandemic. There were literally 5 bikes on display, so imagine my surprise when I was greeted with this:

They had both the Trek Domane's that I was previously interested in and in my size too. Things could have turned out different and I might have never bought the Colnago.

The Bicycle Lounge are small place but are Colnago and Pinarello dealers.

They didn't have any Dogma's but they had this Princeton Dual 5550 carbon wheel for £3399! That's more than I spent my new Colnago and wheels in total. Please don't tell me this is for a single wheel!

The idea of a new bike had already entered my head. I was thinking of getting a gravel bike for winter instead of using the hybrid.

Then I saw this....

So I left a deposit!

Bazinga! Just joking!

Which other bike shops would you recommend visiting in the North West?

I'd like to visit Merlin Cycles in Chorley and the Pinarello Store in Manchester. I work 3 minutes walk from the latter but never visited!

Does Merlin have a showroom/display? When I went there it was during the pandemic when restrictions were in place so I could only drop off at the entrance.
