It's the day before the Season of Mist Audax so that's a no from me.

It's a cracking route, I would struggle to justify paying to ride what's on my doorstep though. The curry might have swung it.

Looks likely to not be a walk in the park, I have only driven on a few sections of that terrain not cycled any. Colin might know as it touches his domain.

long drags but not super steep

I know the parts south of the M62. Long drags is about right. Quite exposed on the tops though so if it is windy then it would be hard work!

thanks James & Chris - that's good news, I can handle longs drags - my new bike is more geared for speed rather than steep climbs so I'm just trying to avoid anything super steep until my fitness improves
