It seems wildly pessimistic, or more likely, I haven't entered the variables correctly

Knowing nothing about ebikes I put in my approximate loaded weight (145kg) selected hilly, gravel surface, multiple stops etc, and using the Cargo Line system with a 750 battery it came at at 96km range in eco mode - above my "normal" touring range. I'm pretty impressed!

I think the numbers are reasonably on the mark. I travel a fair bit faster, get around 50 miles on a 840Whr
