You don't.
You replace at the roadside and repair at home. Same as butyl for me.

That's the ideal scenario and usual one. However, if get a particularly bad day and get multiple punctures then it's not unknown to have to repair roadside. I've done it with butyl using the instant patches.

Seeing as I'm currently running with TPU then I'd like to have same back up. The tubes I have came with patches so it's just question of has anyone done it and how successful was it.
I carry two spare tubes so in most cases "should" be ok.

From my experience with the Ridenow ones the repair will get you home, but it is not permanent.
You will end up binning the tube. Well, I did. Others may have had more success.

Right so you haven't answered my question. How did the roadside repair go and how did u go about it if you did? I can assume you haven't done a roadside repair going from your earlier post?

Your assumption is correct.
I did a repair at home but it couldn't hold air for more than 24 hours. I didn't time it but it was fine for one ride but flat the next day.

It was. I followed it up with the supplied patch but that was even less successful.
I stand by my procedure. Replace, patch if required to get home, bin.

I did do a insulation tape repair and seemed to hold but I was dubious about heading out for a ride with it.
