Track my Ton!

So I'm up for my first 100 mile ride this weekend (see my signature!). I've done the training...ish, the bike has had a service and I have bought my energy bars!

All that remains is for me to do the ride.

Being the technophile that I am I've decided to spice things up! Not with my helmet camera this time, but with a GPS tracker (on my phone with battery pack for power!).

So if your bored on Sunday morning (and probably way into Sunday night) you can track my ride here. Yes you can follow me as a struggle up the hills and freewheel down the slopes shouting wheeeeee!

So on Sunday (I'll be busy tomorrow so I wasn't sure I would have time to post this, that's why this post is a bit early) feel free to post words of encouragement, words of derision, or words of shock at my ability to cycle so slowly...here or on my blog.

I want to feel as if you guys are with me on my ride (hopefully not on my bike as that would add far too much weight!)

(P.S. If you feel the urge to sponsor me.....)

Good luck, I love the Trossachs so I couldnt think of a better place to do a Ton! (except somewhere really flat).

Get an early night and slap on the sudocrem!

If you read this before you go, I honestly think you'll find it easier than you'd imagine. I would say that with the right amount of food + drink, once you reach 60 miles or so it doesn't get particularly much harder, so you should be able to reach 100 no problem! Good luck

Just call me Chris...
Just clicked the link and it's showing 6mph.

I can just imagine the poor bugger, having set a blistering time thus far wheezing up a vicious climb and hoping that no-one picks this moment to click on the tracker

Enjoy your ton
