tractor hydraulics supplier? UK

ok i know this is a long shot but surely someone on here has got to own a tractor or at least have dealt with hydraulics?
so, anyone know a good supplier hydraulic stuff such as spool valves, custom made pipes with fittings, couplings etc?
or do i just get everything off whoever is selling it on ebay or where ever? or do i go down my local tractor dealer+workshop and see what they do?

Tried any of the local graveyards. Got the hydraulic pump for a MF for around 10% of what any of the dealers were asking.
One in Littleborough where parts for a MF & a DB were got.

Pirtek trade counters are pretty much everywhere but they don't have such a good reputation in the trade. I have been having a look on a Land Rover forum that had good information on reputable suppliers but I haven't been there for so long and references I had there have been purged or archived somewhere.

You may be best asking the local agricultural suppliers for a recommendation.

I've used the Pirtek bunch down that way, good job but bloody expensive.

Pirtek will do the job but they are excessively expensive.
Most towns / cities will have a hydraulics /pneumatics supplier for the industial trade. There are at least 3 in Peterborough...
Pirtek of course, Designation dont know if they're just local or national and HPS who AFAIK are a local independant. Most towns will be similar.
