More news. Rummaging through the second garage I found a fair sized lightweight plastic tool box. A good clean then it will mount neatly on the trailer, providing a convenient and waterproof load area for smaller items, yet leaving a goodly sized load bed that would still be easily big enough to bungee on a large rucksack etc.
