There are hills, and then there are LD's hills . . . . . . . hopefully, we won't be subjected to another Devil's Staircase . . . will we . . . ?

haha yea I can be leave that but I am more worried about the descents more of a max 30mph guy not 50 odd with a trailer like some people

*** Edit Update ***

I asked Al-Fresco if he was interested in this ride; but he started muttering darkly, about 'effing hills'  and 36 X 25 not being low-enough gearing. (He's been on much of this route on a previous solo ride)

. . . . . . . so we can take it as a 'no', we shan't be seeing him on this ride .

I think LD is being a tad optimistic, in believing that we'll be back by 6pm..

He'll be back then; but going by previous experience, most of us will be hopelessly lost, somewhere between Cardiff and Caernarvon . . . . . . . or in the first pub that we come to - whichever's closer.

I reckon that 7.30pm is more realistic & possibly, even later than that !

sure we will soon rattle round especially if we didn't stop ;)
