Sivakov from UAE to Decathlon - a sensible acquisition to build a team for Seixas while maintaining a French core
Not a bad move for him: whilst Seixas is still young he'll probably get to lead a GT and might get to fetch bottles at the tour.Ben O'Connor back to Decathlon too
Ben O'Connor back to Decathlon too
OK, I'm not going to pretend that I understand that one - from either direction (rider or team). If you gave me a list of riders and asked me to rank them by who would make the best domestique he'd be near the bottom of it, and if you asked me to rank them after who'd be most likely to throw a strop if he didn't get first choice of races and star billing, he'd be near the top.
Maybe worth noting that neither Picnic PostNL nor Jayco have submitted all the necessary paperwork for their WT licenses next year - deadline was the 15th - though both have applied. Technically this means riders from either team are entitled to tear up their contracts I think
Laurens De Plus to Decathlon as well
There's an in depth article on EF on Escape Collective which I can't read because paywall but the TL;DR; seems to be they needed to cut costs and moving on Carapaz 2 years early was a way of doing this.
Also Tao GH to EF confirmed, presumably on a bargain basement contract.
Michael Valgren joins Netcompany Ineos. He used to be training mates with Geraint Thomas and Luke Rowe (his appearance on their podcast was superb)
Søren Kragh Andersen extends with Lidl-Trek
Are they just filling up their squad with anyone they can get cheap?
