Seems there's a growing number of trendy cycle cafes.

We even have a couple in the frozen north east, which is always the last place to pick up on new ideas.

I know several riders on here use Look Mum No Hands in that there London, and I happened across the website of another - Peloton and Co in Spitalfields.

There's something similar in York, the not very snappily titled Bicis Y Mas.

In Sunderland there's Fausto Coffee, and Pedalling Squares in Newcastle.

My cycling group is not keen, we are more for the mug of instant coffee and tray of chips type of cycle refreshment.

Your thoughts/links to other trendy cycle cafes welcome.

Bank View cafe in Langsett ain't trendy, but it is the King of the Mountains.

Both it and the Waggon & Horses opposite are very bike friendly.

Bike friendly with Sheffield stands situated too close to the fence making it impossible to get your bike supported by the stand? The space between stands looks a bit dubious too!.

You must've been there on a good day, I've never seen it looking that shiny.

OK, we'll let you lock your bike to one of the other stands that's out of shot to the left!

The thread's only been running an hour and we've already found more of these places than you could shake a cinnamon stick at.

I didn't realise there are so many.

In terms of trendy it would have to be Ronde in Edinburgh

In terms of local our Saturday Bun Run stops at Cafe De Fluers in Dollar

But if I was to choose it would be the Grindleford Cafe in the Peak District for me! Huge plates of food and pints of tea, nom nom!
