They are popular bikes if there was a major issue with them then forums like this would be full of people complaining or asking for warranty advice etc. From what ive seen the only issue seems to be with the wheels but i suspect the same problems will be there with all bikes at a similar price range.

Most people like to research and read reviews of potential purchases to make sure they are getting a good deal but there comes a point where there can be too much information and analysis going on and you end up wasting time deliberating rather than enjoy your new toy

I own a triban, had it for afew weeks now. Did my research, checked out a popular review online, and checked opinions of the bike on here. Well praised as a very good first road bike. Its quality, and price sets it apart from many other road bikes.
I was going to offer my experience with my Triban but i deleted it, there's no need. Good bike. Do a search on the forum.
