Shhhhhhh............ they will all want one!

I think I do but would struggle with storage of one. Otherwise it'd be very high on a list of things I'd like.

Got a hallway?

I used to store mine upright in the hallway: front wheels against the wall, rear wheel with a small chock behind it. (I later cleared out the shelving from my garage, so now it lives in the garage behind the car.)

I had an IceT which I bought through my good friend Rob Brock (who sadly died earlier this year) and then I fancied an Anura Delta trike. I bought one from Ian Sims who had come over to Nottingham. Still had the ICET and hoped to keep both.

However, ICET is rather wide and my garage was getting too full for even vague comfort. Just by chance I spoke to an elderly gentleman at York Rally who was trying out an ICET NT and told him about mine. He came and bought it about 2 weeks later.

That wonderful man is 83 years old and is so thrilled still with his trike. I have just received a lovely Christmas card from him telling me thanks for selling him the trike, it continues to give him such pleasure. I just hope I am still as enthusiastic about life as he is if I ever reach that age. Good luck to all those wonderful cyclists who have achieved such an age.

Ha! Sounds fun. I can, however, see a slight accident occuring as the wheels slide sideways and suddenly hit a bit of non-ice ... (grip returns and we do an upside-down whoopsie ...)

I had the privilege of meeting Ron Beams on a number of occasions, a 99 year old Trice rider!

Oh, thanks for posting that picture. I have read about him & his various trikes.

This gentleman who bought my Trice goes out with his local CTC group on it! He sent me a picture of him on it amongst the others. I am still amazed by his abilities.

When he came to buy it, he tried it around the park, and I thought that the bargaining would start here. No. He just put it into the back of his vehicle and gave me an envelope with cash in it. And you know what - I never even counted it! I wouldn't have insulted him, such a gentleman.
