John Lewis (Kingston-upon-Thames, and probably elsewhere) are selling the large metal tins of Quality Street for £17.
Not as large as the tins in my youth, not even the best price per unit weight, but... the USP is you choose the contents.
So I sent my 18 yr old with out order, leaving out those "delightful" purple, green and blue things for someone who might appreciate them.
And no weighing; just ram in as much as you can. Four gannets have been snacking on this tin for the last 5-6 hours, and it's still looking pretty full.
Apparently you can take your tin back for a cheaper refill!

I did manage to find some alternative swatches, but compared the default one they're laid out illogically and don't have the full spectrum of grey-scale tones
Then after a week of being annoyed with myself and my PC, i remembered that i have the same software installed on my laptop so booted that up, found the swatch I'd deleted, saved it to USB and hey presto, i have my preferred colour swatch back on my desktop.
