Yes, but as an adult, when would it come up in normal conversation, other than maybe 'goodies and baddies (which I also use ironically)?

There are other words I have not used since I was about 10, like 'horrid' and 'cross' (as in, you'll be very cross) and 'wuss'.

I know those last three tend to be more English things anyway (I think).

Anyway, back to Accygate...

Next door's cat killed a magpie and left it on their garage roof. It has been the first thing that I've seen from my bedroom window every morning for the past 3 months. The torrential rain at the weekend seems to have washed it away.
