I'm looking to fit a rack to my old MTB as the backpack is hurting my back! I have found the Tubus Cargo that looks like it would do the job very well and it is one of the few racks that comes in either 700C or 26" versions as opposed to one size fits all (which will make the rack sit high on a 26" wheeled bike).
However, looking at the rack spec. it says max tyre width/size of 2.0". This seems odd for a rack that is designed to fit 26" wheeled bikes. My MTB has 2.2" tyres and I'm not sure that there will be enough clearance for the tyres???
