Turn By Turn Directions - Garmin 800

Hi Guys

I have just started creating routes to areas I don't know on strava and I export to my garmin 800. I created a route the other day and when I got on the bike and loaded it up turn by turn directions weren't available. I downloaded as GPX file.

What can I do to get turn by turn directions available?

Thanks, think I've solved it with that blog. I wasn't going into the setting options before I started the course and selecting guidance on.
