It was that the adverts used to be at a different and louder volume to the programme you were watching that peed me off.

If I'm really interested in a programme these days I record it on my Hard Disk recorder andwatch it later using the skip button to miss the adverts completely. The TdF ones were the ones I found the worst 4.5 minutes for every 11 minutes of program.

The purpose of TV is not to deliver quality programmes to your audience, but to deliver an audience to your advertisers. This trend is only going to get worse. It's one of the reasons I don't watch TV, the other being that I have no interest in the doings of a load of faceless nonentities.

I HATE Advertising, I can't stand being advertised to
I hate how the advertisers try to be sneaky and subtle, if you want to try and sell something to me, just say "HERE IS MY PRODUCT, IT COSTS THIS MUCH, DO YOU WANT TO BUY IT?"

I don't need a 5 minute long song and dance about some random crap just to get an air freshner for 99p.
