TV versus Tablet.

Why is it that when I watch a live program on my kindle hd tablet, which is transmitted at the same time on tv, there is a 30 second difference between the two? I use " Film on " on my tablet.

Its the data coding and stuff that takes a few seconds.

Just as an aside, SKY News was actually transmitted live at 42 secs to the hour as it took 42 secs to upload and then send back down the signal from the satellite so on the hour they would be rx'ed .......

It takes 30 seconds to squeeze all the picture stuff down into tablet size, I imagine that they have to cram all the lumps of broadcasting signal bits through a funnel or something.
