They are good tyres, however it depends how much you are paying for them.

Excellent tyres, would recommend. There could be "better", depending on your optimum balance of weight/ speed/ puncture resistance / cost.

Would *not* recommend buying anything safety critical from amazon, who knows what you'll get?

My last ones were from merlin.

Please tell us what sort of riding you're doing and what wheels you're going to fit these tyers (sic) on.
They come in different widths - need to ensure your frame/fork has the necessary clearance.

GP5000s come in different flavours too. My daughter rides GP5000 TT TR on her triathlon bike (and races in New Zealand in 9 days).

I comute to work but also training for London to brighton
As.for wheels i dunno i got a Trek domane AL2 if that helps

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
GP5000's are summer tyres, so great for doing something like London to Brighton; I used them for Paris-Brest-Paris and London-Edinburgh-London as they're my go-to tyre. They'll fit fine on your Trek.

They're not commuting tyres however as they have less puncture protection unless the roads aren't as bad as they are in Yorkshire; something like Schwalbe Durano / Vittoria Rubino are better for commuting.

Agree with David (above). I'm still on GP4000s but have 5000s waiting to go on. In a trial fit the 5000 28s came up as a little less than 28mm wide on my rims. I have clearance for 29mm (height and width) with guards fitted.
Off topic, in preparation for this ride you might wish to consider a ride out with others on an 'audax'. Forgive me from making assumptions, but you may be surprised at the speedy close company others ride at on a sportive which they pretend is a race.
Distances from 100km upwards; lots in Essex; range of speeds from 30-15kmph; good value (no bells, no whistles, plenty of pleasant company (or none)), excellent organisation
