Hi im thinking of buying these
continental grand prix 5000
As anyone got any advice should I just go for it or are there better??
Good road tyres, roll well, but can be difficult to get onto a wheel.
They are good tyres, however it depends how much you are paying for them.

They come in different widths - need to ensure your frame/fork has the necessary clearance.

GP5000s come in different flavours too. My daughter rides GP5000 TT TR on her triathlon bike (and races in New Zealand in 9 days).

something like Schwalbe Durano / Vittoria Rubino are better for commuting.

Agree with David (above). I'm still on GP4000s but have 5000s waiting to go on. In a trial fit the 5000 28s came up as a little less than 28mm wide on my rims. I have clearance for 29mm (height and width) with guards fitted.training for London to brighton
