Tyre Pressures

Hi there I know its a a daft question. I have a halfords TR1 TRAX rigid suspension bike and was wondering whether 60 psi which i currently run is the correct pressure?

What does it say on the sidewall of the tyres? It should state the minimum and maximum PSI. Somewhere in-between would be a good start for you.

If mainly on road and 60PSI is max then I would go for 50PSI.

If mix of off road and road then try 40PSI.

Just don't do what I did - and fill it up with a petrol station air hose... I didn't notice the bulge in the sidewall until about three days later - very lucky it didn't go bang on me!
