Tyre size.

The bike l usually ride is off the road for a while for repairs so l'm using my other racing bike but it needs a new back tyre.
So this is my question.... l have 700x28 tyres on but can l put 700x25 on the back wheel , would this be ok with a 700x28 on the front.

Yes, it should make it easier going uphill too.

That's great.. just didn't know if it would be ok as the bike from new came with 700x28 tyres on the wheels and before buying a 700x25 wanted to make sure as didn't want it being a loose fit width wise.

I'd put the old 28mm front tyre on the back and the new 25 on the front, much better for comfort and safety, not to mention wear.
