Probably looking at 25mm, £40ish per pair and the "racing" bit made me giggle
You've got a road racing bike and want to go faster, maybe for real racing or pretend sportive racing?

Get the new Rubino pro and report back

I have Vittoria Rubinos on my Argon 18. The back tyre had a couple of nicks in it in places so I was thinking of upgrading? Any recommendations on what the next "level" up in tyres would be?

I have no idea which type of Rubino I have as all it says is Vittoria Rubino - certainly not Pro or anything else!

All help well appreciated but lets stick to under £40 or is that being too cheap lol

I have used Michelin Pro endurance and in their former guise the krylionfor the last two or three years.
Wear well and good puncture protection.
Have always used23c.

The Pro Carbon had Rubino Pro folding tyres as standard and I really liked them during the summer / early autumn, but as the roads started getting wetter and greasier I'd occasionally find the rear tyre breaking traction when climbing steep hills, which could be quite disconcerting. I initially thought this might be due to the awesome power in my legs, but quite quickly ruled this out...
So I changed them for Continental Gatorskins (which I already had on the other road bike) and all was good in the world again.

The Rubinos are safely tucked away and I'll probably put them back on for the summer in a few weeks.
