I say take the cute guy off the list and replace him with another blobfish thing such as the Michaelius Govium, a bottom feeder.

That phrase always makes me a little queasy

Aha, I saw that bit on telly a couple of days ago. They stay in a permanent juvenile state. Well, when I say permanent I mean life long - someone posted about the death of their axolotl a couple of days ago. But it's alright, they got another one.
They are really cute too.The Kakapo parrot also made the list. I can't for the life of me see why, they're gorgeous: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=k...24CYCQ&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1024&bih=640&dpr=1

I have 2 Axies, one called Squishy and the other called Groo. Alex the Axolotl went and died yesterday, hubby gave him a burial at sea![]()
Sweet Jesus wtf is that, it looks like an internal organ with legs and stuff.

Aw, didn't get better then (obviously) Sorry to hear that..Axolotls are lovely - they will eat goldfish and its not advised to keep them with any fish as the fish will nibble the gils.

@Rob3rt is quite right, they stay larval for ever, the word he was looking for was neotenic. Still not ugly though, I cannot agree with him there.
They don't like fast moving water so I hid the airstone under some bogwood. The Axies have moved the bogwood and jacuze themselves in the bubble stream.
