It was family tradition to name this generation's kids with an 'ie/ey' on the end. So my brothers, sister and various cousins called their kids, Kloe, Bradley, Lucy, Stanley, Emily, Rosie, etc.

We called our son Ben.

My sister was upset for some reason.

Only if you wanted to end up dead-dy.

Sister got her own back by calling him Teddy (second name is Edward).

Plus our second son is called Nicholas, so 'Nicky' has sort of reverted to form.

My brother in law just had a kid and wanted to go for something a little bit different. Their choices were Hugo, Hector and Boris. IMHO not great choices, in the end they went for Hugo.

Excellent choice, name him after a destructive hurricane :

(well I would say that, being a meteorologist ).
