Unpleasant Smell

I've a friend who worked in Korea and she told me about the Kim Chi but I'd forgotten what it was called.
Apparently the fermented/rotted bits from the bottom of the barrels were most highly prized.

When I was in Korea I very often returned from the bar and had a Kim Chi sandwich before going to bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the noise issue reminds me of an old joke.

Paddy and his missus hadn't slept in weeks .
Their next door neighbours had got new dog which they kept in the garden and it barked all night long.

One night paddy and his missus were lying awake listening to the dog barking and Paddy suddenly jumped out of bed and said 'right I'm going to settle this once and for all'.

A few minutes later Paddy jumped back into bed and his missus said 'well Paddy what did you do?'

Paddy said ' I put the bluddy dog in our garden , see how they like it !'
