After half a lifetime's quest, I'm still yet to sample the whisky I don't like. The search continues!

It was an introductory bottle from the Malt Whisky Society called chocolate cupcakes or similar.

It might well be OK in whisky sour cocktails, which I'm quite partial to occasionally. The smoky whiskies (which I am very fond of) are less suitable for sours. In any case I'm reluctant to use my best whisky for a cocktail, but if it's one you don't otherwise like ...

Did it taste anything like what it promised on the label? Generally I find these things don't. Probably alright with coke or ginger beer, but I'd not be precious about it being a single malt.

If you really don’t like it, then mix it into a cocktail.

If i "really don't like" a drink, i'm not gonna be keen on drinking it!

If I couldn't regift it, the drain would be the best bet.

It has a faint whiff of chocolate but doesn't taste of any of the description.

I love Ardbeg and Laphroaig.

My cycle tours to Islay are purely coincidental...
