I think it is still a case of moving on, and if she was on holiday and does contact in a week or so then it is a bonus

Ha. I thought that as I read it. Thats where I'm going wrong; here I was labouring under the illusion that the ladies wanted some mysterious, macho, James Bond rip off to parachute from the sky and make an entrance through the large open windows as the curtains dance in the breeze, when in actual fact they want a guy in a flat cap and high vis to turn up driving a diesel 3-wheeler and fumble around at the front door for 5 minutes.
