Now walk away from the fairground mirrors and use a normal mirror then re-appraise your opinion.
I thought fairground mirrors were supposed to make things look worse! Or is it the case that fairground mirrors always invert reality?

Anyway YTim - you need to post a pic so we can evaluate
Photo proof !!!
I second that proof proof proof
I am actually quite fit, haven't gained any weight since my teens, and genuinely do look good in lycra. However, I don't want to frighten the ladies here, as my face looks like it caught fire, and someone tried to put out the blaze using a spade.

biceps of course !!!!

Oh dear! How do I break this gently. You don't go for cyclists if you have a 'thing' for biceps!

The only exceptions are fixed-wheel and single-speed riders, who both need moderate biceps, upper back, and a strong core (stomach, midriff, torso, etc. etc.) to get up hills. As it happens, I mostly ride single-speed and fixed-wheel, and my commute home has a long uphill section.
