Thats mine below and i also use a Specialized Sirrus for my commuter bike. I much prefer riding road bikes i find them more comfortable,lighter,quicker,more responsive and overall a more enjoyable ride. However be warned its a slippery financial slope this road bike world. Especially when it comes to up grading stuff

I have the Boardman Hybrid Comp and the Triban 3 and the Triban is definitely faster and more comfortable. If you can afford it and have the space I would buy the Triban but also keep the Boardman as it is still a fun ride and can be fitted with full SKS mudguards for wet weather riding when the Triban can only take Crud Roadracers.

So, bearing in mind my obsession with speed, would I see any benefit in switching from the Boardman to a Triban 3 (even a 1 mph would probably make me a happy bunny)?
