hi, grateful for any info
I have a 10 speed 4700 tiagra rear derailleur and chainset 50/34t FSA gossamer
is it possible to change the front cassette to 105 with 50/34t setup?

would I need to replace the BB30 with an adapter compatible with 105 5750?

thanks

It's an expensive change for no benefit. I don't know the diameter of the axle on the Gossamer chainset, but the Shimano would be 24mm and definitely needs an adaptor for a BB30 bottom bracket.

If you want to spend money on improving the bike, better quality tyres and/or wheels would actually improve the bike. Clipless pedals and shoes and some decent cycling shorts would be a good buy as well. If you're relatively new to road cycling you should build up your experience and get to know the good and bad points about your bike before making any changes.
