Upgrade my Dura Ace

I want to upgrade my Dura Ace groupset but unsure if I should get 105 or Ultegra. I'm thinking 105 as it offers the same number of gears yet is cheaper. I like big numbers and the 105 weighs more so it must be more solidly built and last longer. When the parts wear out, they'll be cheaper to replace. That's an awesome upgrade in my books.
