It rather depends on how you feel your current bike/wheels/groupset is holding you back.I'm currently riding a ribble r872 with 105's on a 12-27 treble. Fitted with fulcrum racing quatros.
Not sure if I should sell and go for something else around the 2.5k mark or upgrade mine to a better group set/ wheels

My missus isn't warming to my advances on ANYTHING.It isn't really I've just got an unhealthy obession with bikes it's all I want to spend my cash on. Plus I ain't spent on bikes In a while so the missus is warming to my advances to spend again ;-)
The OP has Fulcrums...?Can't knock your R872 though, fine bike, not keen on those cheap entry level wheels Ribble do though (always get slated for being heavy & poor quality).
Threads like these ALWAYS amaze me, in a nice sort of way, not a green eyed jealous one. I paid £250 for my bike so you can imagine how these figures seem to me! I would love to ride one of the top end bikes just to see how they feel in comparison to my bottom end one
Sorry for going off topic

Does the OP want to stick with a triple, will reduce the range of options of off the peg bikes
