So after months of looking, I finally found and bought and terrific bike. It is a huge upgrade from what i was riding, which was a Schwinn Solara. Good for a $200-$300 bike. The new bike is a Trek SL. Little older, around 2015. Dont know exactly. Man it is like night and day. The gearing is cleaner, the bike weighs like half as much as my old one. Trek has paddle shifters. I didnt know how much the old bike was holding me back. The shwinn, while pushing hard, i averaged around 15.5mph (25 k/h). That was pushing hard. On the Trek, going easy, not over hard, nothing major, i have averaged 16.5 mph (26.5 k/h). Before, riding 20 miles was hard. Like could barely make it tough. Now, I was able to do them with little to no problems. The feeling i get while riding it can only be described as sheer giddyness. Sorry had to share, totally stoked! Ride safe everyone!!
